A DVR system is a digital video recording system that is used for multiple types of surveillance.  This system is used for video recording, as well as, security protection typically for government and business purposes.  It can also be used in home security systems; and last but not least entity detection! 

 

These systems use an infra-red light that allows video recording at night.  The Night-vision capability makes it possible for paranormal investigators to record in complete darkness.  Sometimes entities and anomalies cannot be seen by the naked eye and there is a theory that entities may make themselves more known in the dark.
