The E-Pod Amp is an upgraded E-field Pod is a device designed to assist in Electro-Static evidence collection during an investigation. Static electricity is a build-up of an imbalance between positive or negative charged particles.  An example of this static charge is rubbing a balloon against your head creating static electricity in your hair. 

 

 

Once the electricity charge changes from positive to negative or the other way around in a room the E-pod is activated.  The LED of the E-Pod will remain ON or OFF depending on the type of static electricity in the room.  It's 3 LED lights will activate according to how close the electrical charge interference is to the pod; 3, 6, or 12 feet away.  It covers a 12X12 space 360 degrees.  Static electricity is a build-up of an imbalance between positive or negative charged particles.
