Krystal Depew, CEO
Krystal Depew is a wife and mother who grew up in the small town of Marquette Heights, IL. She lived just a few blocks away from Rob Depew and yet never met him until she was 19. Krystal married Rob and has been in love for over 19 years. She shares the most beautiful 15 year old son, London, with Rob.
Krystal is an administrative office professional with over 15 years’ experience and currently she owns a business Sparkling Mixes. She also creates fairy gardens with her mother.
As a child Krystal has experienced unusual encounters with a shadow man in her childhood home. Other family members experienced the same. The home also has unexplained noises and family members often find objects moved or missing. She has also experienced another unexplained account as a child at a family friend's house. Krystal has never forgotten the amazing experience. As a child she was always more curious than scared. Due to her past experiences Krystal is very interested in seeking out explanations of the paranormal and loves her profession as a paranormal investigator.
Rob Depew, CEO
Rob Depew is a husband and father of a 15 year old son named London. Rob was born and raised in the small town of Marquette Heights, IL. Rob has worked at Caterpillar for 15 years. He has been interested in the unexplained and paranormal since a young age.
His favorite movie is Halloween and he loves Scooby-doo! He had a vision of becoming a paranormal investigator. He and his wife, Krystal, were given the opportunity to join a local paranormal group. Something was missing. After being in the group for some time Rob and his wife along with his close friends Mark Smith and Jason Cassidy took his vision further and decided to create their own paranormal society. Illinois Ghost Seekers Society was born with a founding membership of 4 founding lead investigators. Since then IGSS has grown to a total of 10 full-time investigators!
Amanda Cavitt
Amanda Cavitt was born in Lincoln, IL and now resides in Pekin, IL with her love of her life, Nate and her amazing daughter, Elaina. Amanda and Nate married in 2015 after many years of love they tied the knot!!! Amanda works at Bard Optical and is a 9 year veteran to the optical field.
She has always been interested in the paranormal. She also loves horror movies, and most of all movies about vampires. Her love for the paranormal truly began in high school after moving into a house that was haunted. She was exposed to something new and unnatural. Her curiosity has been growing since.
Now that Amanda has joined Illinois Ghost Seekers Society she can seek out proof and explainations to the paranormal. She loves being a part of a team who's goal is to help people.
Ryan Gardner
Ryan Gardner is husband to Kelly Ann Gardner and joined the team in 2013. A native of Pekin, IL, Ryan joined the US Navy in April, 2000. During his 12 years in the military, he was stationed in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii and traveled the world navigating the nuclear powered submarine USS Chicago. Ryan is also father to two beautiful daughters. Now a self-proclaimed “tech geek”, he is a PC and electronics expert working as a technical support specialist at ATS’ corporate office in Peoria since 2006.
Ryan is also an active member of the Marquette Heights Men’s Club and has volunteered at Spook Hollow since 1997. He has a bachelor’s degree in business management.
Ryan is skeptical of the paranormal and seeking to find any proof of their existence.
Kelly Gardner
Kelly Ann Gardner is a native of Stillwater, MN. All in the same year, Kelly Ann became a wife, a step-mother to two beautiful girls, and moved to another state! Kelly Ann now resides in Pekin with her husband Ryan Gardner. She graduated from the Minnesota School of Cosmetology and is a veteran stylist with Great Clips.
Kelly Ann was a member of another paranormal team in Minnesota for almost 7 years. After moving to Illinois, Kelly Ann was seeking to continue paranormal investigations and found IGSS. She has experienced numerous unexplainable situations with relatives that have passed and is seeking truth to the paranormal.
Jamie French
Jamie was born and raised in Marquette Heights and now resides in Peoria with her boyfriend Josh and children. She is the mother of 3 beautiful children Jayde (15), Jordan (14), and Joseph (5). Jamie is employed by Caterpillar and loves her job. She has not only been a member of our group previously in 2012, but started out as a client. Our team investigated her creve coeur home because of experiences with her and her children. She re-joined our group in 2014. Jamie has always been interested in the paranormal after having her own personal experiences since she was little. She also loves horror movies; and paranormal fiction books.
Lisa Asbury
Lisa Asbury is a wife and mother of four boys. She grew up in Eureka, IL and currently resides in Metamora. She works as a real estate broker and manages her husband's law firm.
Lisa began having paranormal experiences at a very young age, and continues to have them today. She has always been a believer and is very interested in the paranormal and figuring out what happends to our souls after we pass on.
