Enviromental Measuring Devices
Illinois Ghost Seekers uses a variety of equipment to measure indoor and outdoor environmental factors.
The first device is an Infra-red (IR) thermometer. It can detect temperature in a specific spot or on a specific object.
IGSS also owns an ambient thermometer that measures the temperature in the whole environment such as a room or even outside. It does not target a specific area or object such as the IR thermometer. IGSS' Mel-Meters also reads ambient temperature.
We also have an indoor humidity/temperature device to measure levels in specific locations. This will ensure humidity levels are appropriate for E-Pod use and well as for general measurement needs.
Carbon Monoxide and gas detectors also used to measure.
IGSS also uses a temperature/humidity data logger that connects to the PC to capture fluctuations for data capture.
IGSS also captures outdoor environment factors through the internet on-location for things such as outdoor temperature, barometric temperature, winds, and more via www.weather.com and www.weatherbug.com.
All weather and environmental factors are important in paranormal investigating.
