Illinois Ghost Seekers has several devices for motion detection. 

 

 

We use 6 basic motion detectors that are generally used for security purposes.  Two of these are specific to detecting vibrations and the other 4 detect motion.  These are great for warning you when someone wanders into your investigation site.

 

 

We also use a basic baby monitor in certain situations to hear movement in a room real-time when we are not present.
