The Temp-Pod is a newer device developed by Professional Measure, Gary Galka.  It detects a +5/-5 degree ambient temperature change in the environment.

 

 

When a temperature shift occurs the device will signal and change to red for a hotter reading and blue for a colder reading.  The tones it makes changes in octaves as the temperature rises or decreases in 1 degree increments.
