Illinois Ghost Seekers looks for the latest in software technology.  We currently use Audacity, Praat, and Cool Edit Pro audio programing to review and analyze our Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP) recordings.  It allows us to rule out human voice interruptions for a more authentic and accurate EVP.  

 

IGSS also uses the latest software for database capture and analysis.  A comprehensive database was created in Microsoft Access.  The database allows IGSS to capture everything while conducting an investigation.  Some things captured for study are moon phase, temperatures, types of paranormal activity, human activities, non-paranormal activities such as faulty wiring or plumbing.  It allows IGSS to review each case as a whole.

 

IGSS also uses Adobe Photoshop to analyze all photos taken during investigation.  Photos are analyzed for shadows, images, apparitions, and debunking of orbs.
