Over the years we have investigated many places. Here is where we will post the results of some of them. We have decided not to publish anything from private homes, even if we have permission to do so. We have been to quite a few famous and not so famous public places and are always adding more so check back every so often for updates.
You will find that Illinois Ghost Seekers does not post a lot of video and photographic evidence. We tightly scrutinize our evidence and 98% of the time video and photographic anomalies are NOT paranormal world-wide. There are many photos and videos in the world that can be debunked or have too many environmental and camera factors that contribute to a possible anomaly. We ensure that our data will be authentic, not fake, or will not be misunderstood evidence such as dust, bugs, lens flare, pareidolia, etc. We take pride in ensuring our data is accurate and real.
IGS also holds high standards with reviewing and analyzing our audio. We never alter, amplify, speed up, slow down, or manipulate audio in any other way as that can distort sound. Too much distortion can create a possible mistake in an EVP capture. Things such as regular noises, breathing, a foot shuffle, white noise, and more can be mistaken for an EVP. All the audio anomalies we publish are unaltered and the real deal.
Everything we publish is our opinion. We try to pick out the best anomalies to put on here. You may not hear the same thing as us or disagree about a result and that is fine. The paranormal is unproven and will probably stay that way for a long time. That is why we keep looking for answers.
