Digital voice recorders are used to capture electronic voice phenomena (EVP).  Paranormal investigators believe that unexplained voice phenomena from entities and ghosts can be captured on voice recorders.  The human ear, many times, cannot hear an entity speak; however, their voices can be captured and played back on the recorder.  IGSS has advanced real-time technology for voice recording capabilities.  IGSS is very excited to have this technology as these are far more advanced than your average voice recorder.    

 

We use a Zoom H2 studio quality recorder which has real-time playback capabilities.

 

We also have an RT-EVP ITC Research Device and the upgraded 2011 RT-EVP device made by Gary Galka at Pro-Measure.   These two devices are created specifically for paranormal research.  They have many features and can playback with a delay.  The newest model also has EVP logging capabilities.  This is our favorite piece of equipment and is very valuable in our studies.
